- ORRISSA is a not for profit registered society working since 1989. The group was founded in the year 1987. From the beginning, life of the adivasi community has been the source of inspiration and learning field for the entire team. The preserved and practised values of the Kondh and Koya adivasi's are the guiding principles in the interventions of the team. In its mission of finding out alternatives for the disadvantaged and neglected, the group operates in some of the interior pockets of the state of Orissa. Over these years, ORRISSA team have been successful in issue based intervention on tribal rights over Health, Land, Water and Forest through People's Organizations.
